Our Montessori school is designed to help each student discover and fully develop his unique talents and abilities. We treat each child as an individual, allowing him to learn optimally at his own pace and in a way that best suits his learning style.
Toddler / Pre-Primary Class
The Toddler / Pre- Primary Environment (ages 12 months – 36 months) is designed for the student beginning their early childhood education. Cognitive, motor, sensory, language, social and practical life activities are all inclusive in the curriculum for the young toddler. Students entering the Toddler environment must be able to walk with ease. They should also be capable of drinking from a small cup as bottles are not permitted in class.
The Pre-Primary student is emerging to more advanced skills in these areas and is also beginning the toilet training experience. The Pre-Primary student is preparing and building on skills to ready himself for entrance into thr Primary classes.

Kindergarten
The Primary, VPK and Kindergarten environment is designed for the student age 3 years through Kindergarten. Curriculum areas include: language arts, (reading, literature, grammar, creative writing, spelling and handwriting), mathematics and geometry, everyday living skills, sensory- awareness exercises, geography,
history, science, art, music and movement.

Enrichment Classes
Each year we strive to offer enrichment classes for our students. These classes are optional and are at the discretion of each parent for choosing. The specialty teachers are independent associate teachers who have been interviewed and screened by the Director. You are welcome to observe and meet specialty teachers before enrolling in a class. Some classes that have been offered at Children’s Montessori School are: Science Club, Yoga, Dance, Gymnastics, Music, etc.
